Tommy Grimes is a Film & Media Arts graduate from Temple University who splits his time between independent film, freelance video, and service in the Air National Guard. Directly after high school Tommy enlisted in the 111th fighter wing as an avionics technician on the A-10. After 3 years he was offered a position as a broadcaster in the public affairs office where he films various news stories and events for the unit.
Developing his skills from an early age he first attended Northampton Community College and received an associates in radio and television production. He then transferred to Temple where he studied the art of screenwriting and narrative filmmaking. With films such as Promise Land (his thesis), Month And A Half (A sprawling web-based dramady) and other short films, he consistently showed his ability to craft emotional stories with both humor and heart. Walking the lines between film and broadcast, Tommy is uniquely qualified in all aspects of media production whether for creative or commercial purposes.
